We are searching for a candidate (Contrato Predoctoral ley de la Ciencia) to develop the proteomics part of the Research Project “The antibody immune response in pathologic vascular remodelling”, which has been financed by La Caixa after a very competitive national call.

The offer is for a three year long contract, funded by the Research Support Technician Program managed by the Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad and is dependent on its public grant.

Profile

Aimed to Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or Biotechnology graduates. The offer will value the applicant's experience in proteomics tools such as mass spectrometry or bioinformatics.

The Cambridge Institute Proteomics Facility provides researchers access to proteomic expertise including in-depth protein analysis (identification and quantification) of complex samples in addition to targeted (MRM) protein assays to Cambridge Institute scientists. We also offer protein analysis services to other departments within the University of Cambridge

We are recruiting to expand our core mass spectrometry capabilities and require a skilled, experienced scientist to join our team in providing excellent proteomic support to research groups within the institute.
